SRX210 PPOE bridging

‎06-13-2015 12:41 AM

Hi

Not sure if am i am missing something. I have a Netgear Dm111P modem connected in PPoe Bridge mode to Interface 0 on SRX210 which is configure DHCP client. The DHCP client recieves an ip address from the modem, when the staus is "discovering" the internet works ie ping dns , as soon as it changes to "bound" it blocks  the dns and internet. i can connect the modem directly to my pc and receive an ip address cause its running an dhcp server. If i connect the netgear modem to linksys wrt1900ac then to srx, it receieves ip and everything works. Not sure what i am missing fyi i understand something networking, but not indepth. Please see below config

Hi,

What is the dhcp scope the netgear is assigning to clients ? Why do you have two default routes in the config ?

also I really don't understand why you use pppoe in the topic of the forum posting as you are talking about dhcp
