  • 1.  SRX240 SNMP ACCESS FROM PUBLIC INTERFACE

    Hi

     

    I have set-up the snmp configuration:

     

    snmp {
        name HOST;
        description HOST;
        contact "COMPANY";
        community HOST {
            authorization read-only;
            clients {
                PUBLIC ADDRESS/26;
               

    I am trying to access the snmp info from the Internet.
    But I cannot do an snmpwalk from the client. I added a rule for the specific addresses and it still has not worked.

    Please advise.

     If you are trying to do snmp access from internet, please check whether untrust zone is allowed to recieve snmp traffic (i.e. host-inbound-traffic) if not please do it

     

     set security zone security-zone untrust host-inbound-traffic system-services snmp

     

    if problem persists, do post complete config ...
