I encountered OS corruption issue, so I tried to  boot from USB drive. Then I met the following error

File sturcture for 15.1X49-D180 is quite different from the one in your link. No  much file do depress and those there are no loader and uboot files mentioned

Are you able to do a snapshot to USB on a working SRX300 and do a full boot on the corrupted device, not to the boot loader but all the way to the Junos load.

 

Then do a snapshot again from the USB junos to the internal media.

The most common reason for this to happen is due a file system corruption. If you want to make sure the SRX’s file system is ok, you can reboot the device/RE so the fsck (file system check tool) do its job during the boot and fix any current error in the filesystem, there is no action necessary to run the fsck, the firewall will do it by itself during boot up.

Please consider using TFTP for the upgrade. 

If the upgrade procedures do not help you determine, I would suggest that a log analysis be done thoroughly followed by replacment if needed.
