Hi guys, I had the following problem upgrading the SRX3600 to latest 12.1R4.7 code.
SRX> request system software in-service-upgrade
all seems to have worked until you try to do a commit:
# commit full warning: ISSU in progress, commit disallowed
> request system software abort in-service-upgrade error: command is not valid on the srx3600
I had to do the following to get is sorted:
"If the output of this command is not zero, enter the sysctl hw.re.issu_state=0 command to clear the NSSU states on member"
I then rebooted the devices and I could see that there was a problem with the software versions in that only one of the devices were upgraded.
I disabled the cluster and did a manual upgrade before enabling the cluster.
and then there is an easier method that you need to do only on the secondary device:
request chassis cluster in-service-upgrade abort
rather do a manual upgrade on both 😉
