chassis cluster reth interface fail over

‎10-10-2019 11:52 PM

Hi Juniper Masters,

about chassis clustering reth interface failover. Node0 is active and Node1 is stand by and RG0 and RG1 is active in Node0. let say i have 4 reth interfaces in RG 1,  active link on reth1 fails, question is will reth1 failover to Node1 only or all of the reth interfaces member in RG1 will fail over to RG1. ive read the doc below but im quit confused on the weight value part. many thanks

Failover is based on redundancy group. If one of the reth interfaces failed and interface monitoring enabled, RG1 will failover to node1, i.e all interfaces will be active on node1.
