  • 1.  fru_is_present: out of range slot -1 for FAN

    Hi everybody, one of my SRX'es (SRX100-B) throws this error in /var/log/chassisd: fru_is_present: out of range slot -1 for FAN I searched the web but could not find anything - has anyone seen this error before and knows, what it means? Obviously the SRX100 has no Fan - so this error seems safe to be ignored, right?

    Hey !

    This is a bug .

    To avoid this issue, update to the following Junos release:
    10.4R10 onwards (fixed by PR746923)
    11.4R10 onwards (fixed by PR926486)
    12.1X44-D25 onwards (fixed by PR889776)
