hi All,

SRX reth3.450 is connected to R1 and R2 on the same vlan 450. interface reth3.450 is vrf GRX-ROAMING

SRX1 IP: 151.236.160.193

R1 IP: 151.236.160.194

R2 IP: 151.236.160.195

I want traffic for these 2 subnets 194.150.198.24/29,194.150.199.24/29 to be always forwarded to 151.236.160.194 unless .194 is no longer reachable then traffic for the 2 subnets should be forwarded to .195

is this configuration going to accomplish my goal??? please help.

Hi Haitham Jneid,

Your configuration looks good as well but to make it simple , you can use qualified next hop options.

when the first next hop is unreachable , (No ARP entry for first next hop) , that route will be removed from the routing table and qualified next hop will be used.
