  • 1.  lt-0/0/0 didn't show up on the interface terse for srx210

    Posted 01-28-2014 15:42

    Hello,

I am trying configure logical tunnel on my SRX 210 in order to interconnect between virtual routers on the same router but the problem the lt-0/0/0's are not showing up when I issue the "show interface terse" command or any show interface commands. They do show up under the interface part of the conifg. I saw a earlier posting but don't think I have the cluster issue as stated in the other person's issue. Thanks for any help

    Configs below:

    Hi

You don't have any physical (fe or ge) interfaces in the output which is bad as well.

What hardware model is it? (show chassis hardware). Does it happen to be

SRX with media gateway version? They have been discontinued around 2010

so I suspect they will not work normally with newer Junos. What Junos do you

    have? (show version).

Is your FPC online? Can you paste output of 'show chassis fpc pic-status' ?

    Regards,

    Raveen

    Raveen,

Seems like the pic is not supported.

    5698> show chassis fpc pic-status

PIC 0  Present      2xGE,6xFE,1x3G,2xFXS,1xFXO- Not Supported

    PK,

Here are the outputs. Would I have to downgrade to an older Junos? Thanks

    Hi

    Yes you gave EOL equipment

SRX210H-P-MGW SRX services gateway 210 with 2xGE + 6xFE ports, 1xmini-PIM slot, high memory (1GB RAM, 1GB FLASH), w/ 4 Ports POE (50W) and Media Gateway with 2 FXO and 2 FXS ports.

    See tech bulletin

    http://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=TSB15488

So I guess it does not support 11.4. I think there was a Juniper program of exchanging

these units to the supported ones (see above link). You should contact JTAC. If not possible,

you can try to downgrade to Junos 10.x to see if this brings interfaces back.

    Pk,

Downgrading to version 10.4 did the trick. Thanks for all the help.
