  • 1.  set chassis cluster redundancy-mode active-backup can not use in SRX1400 12.1X44

    according to KB21263 . 

    set chassis cluster redundancy-mode active-backup can be used to have all the source nat ports on single node; in case of Active/Passive Chassis Cluster setup.

    when i try on SRX1400 12.1X44, there is no this command  , also on  SRX3400  10.4R5.5 ,fail . is there any comand can be used to achieve the same effect ? or is there any command to expand the session numbers that a public address can supoort ?

    When you say there is no command, what do you mean?  it's a hidden command, so when you enter it does it accept it?

    Points to note, its configuration mode command and hidden too (you have to type it completely)

     

    root@SRX# set chassis cluster redundancy-mode active-backup

     root@SRX# commit

     

    This requires a reboot of both nodes simultaneously (or at least staggered in a way that both chassis' will be offline for a moment).


    You can check if it is working by using the following hidden command (well hidden extension to it ).

     

    show chassis cluster information

    - Redundancy mode:
        Configured mode: active-backup
        Operational mode: active-backup
