    Hi guys, is it possible to do source nat before routing ? if yes, how ?

    Hello Dan,

     

    I don't think it is possible to do source NAT before route lookup.

    What exactly is the requirement for which you need to do source NAT before route lookup?

    on the same interface/zone I have private and public ips, when I initiate traffic from the private IPs to the public ips they always connect as private, I want to snat the private IPs when going to public ips

    Hi Dan,

     

    I am intrested to know how this worked and type of scenario here. Route-lookup is always first, unless otherwise if its configured with static nat or destination nat , it wont bypass the source-nat directly. Can you elaborate what was the scenario here , just out of curiosity
