i have a query re clustering

 

i have a standalone 650 11.2R4.3 and i have to cluster it with

 

the second box has all the right license etc

 

i've looked closely at KB15503 and have the command set in notepad but i'm worried

 

- once i reload from the intitial cluster command set chassis cluster cluster-id 1 node 0 reboot will i lose my existing  
  policies, routes, vpns etc

  if the policies are still in place once the cluster is up, i'll change the addresses from interface to RETH addresses

- the standalone box has 5 dmzs and i want a failover if any one of these fails

  do i put all the interface, trust and dmzs in the same redundancy group?

When you make cluster, you wont lose the configuration but it will not be active due to the interface name changes. So the ideal way to do would be change the configuration offline and then load it to the clustered device. You need to note that node 1 interfaces changes from ge-0/0/0 to ge-9/0/0..
Regarding RG groups, if you want failover incase any one failures, put all of them in one RG Group (RG1).
