The call number does not appear to be a configurable parameter but a fixed number by the platform.  My SSG5 only allows 16 calls.

You may need a hardware upgrade.  But I don't see a good listing of what this limit is per platform in a quick search.  You may have to open a ticket or talk to your reseller to see how the limit shifts over the hardware platforms.

HI

We can increase the maximum number of SIP calls on the device.

You can increase the maximum capacity by modifying the environment variable Max_sip_ call_num.

For example, to modify the maximum number of SIP calls for a SSG5  to 32

set env max_sip_call_num=32

A reboot is required for the new value to take effect.

For SSG 140, you should be able to increase it uto 128.

Please note that increasing SIP calls on the device is does consume more memory and other resources. Evaluate the device capacity and traffic profile before going for a increase.

Hi (and Help !),

I'm currently facing the same issue :-/
According to previous given solution (above), I wish to increase the maximum number of SIP calls on the SSG5 device. I read it is possible to modify the maximum number of SIP calls for a SSG5  to 32 :

set env max_sip_call_num=32

Should it be possible to increase this value to 24, in order not to consume too much ressources, by using this sentence ? Is this value (24) allowed ?

set env max_sip_call_num=24
Sorry to ask this but is it possible to export the cfg txt file, add this line (and where ?) to the file and then import the modified file ?
The Web GUI has no available menu for this parameter and I cannot use console mode.

Regards
