IP range in Address for Grouping - NS-50 OS 3.0.3r1.1

‎04-15-2009 07:01 AM

I have a range of IP's I need to enter into my Address section of my NS-50.

They are used for EDI so our customer can submit orders to our midrange, and go direct to a port, and their IP is allowed.

In the Address Section, Untrusted Tab, I have each individual IP's setup, and then created a Group with all those in it.

How can I setup a "full range" of say.. 161.nnn.nnn.1 to 161.nnn.nnn.254.

I need 2 of these like this, then I can add them to the Group for this vendor.

Hope this make sense.

Thanks for any help there may be.

If you want an address book range that encompasses a full /24 subnet, you can specify 161.nnn.nnn.0 255.255.255.0.  This will be equivalent to 161.nnn.nnn.1 through 161.nnn.nnn.254
