This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.
  • 1.  Netscreen 25 Data Error on Start Loading......

    Getting the following error on Netscreen 25 after power out failure:

    NetScreen NS-25/50 Boot Loader Version 3.0.0 (Checksum: D1C6421F) Copyright (c) 1997-2003 NetScreen Technologies, Inc.

    Total physical memory: 128MB     Test - Pass     Initialization - Done

    Model Number: NS-25

    Hit any key to run loader Hit any key to run loader Hit any key to run loader Hit any key to run loader

    Loading default system image from on-board flash disk...

    Ignore image authentication!

    Start loading... ....................................................................................................data error.

    cannot reset to factory default or access via trust port

    Hi,

     

    Does the bopot process hang at this prompt?

    If not, have you face any other issues.

    yet it hangs up after the data error

    It is possible that the screenOS image on firewall may have gone corrupt.

    Can you try to reload the image:

     

    kb.juniper.net/KB5519

    i will look at this kb have no experience with this devise. problem is i cannot stop the load with any key but i will look at this and see what i can do with it.
