This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  SSG - SRX LAB Ping issue

    Hi 

     

    I am in new Juniper and am doing SSG5 - SRX100 back to back lab and appreciate if someone can help.

     

     

    Once i set up basic configuration, I can ping to SSG5 ip add (11.11.11.11) from the SRX(11.11.11.22) but I can't ping to SRX from SSG.

     

    Please see attached my diagram and config of two FW.

     

    I can ping SRX interface ip address if I can ping from SRX itself.

    You need to allow ping on the SRX.

     

    set security zones security-zone untrust interfaces fe-0/0/2.0 host-inbound-traffic system-services ping
