I have an isg-1000 that has stopped responding to web requests on its mgmt port. When I telnet to the box, the connection opens, but no text is displayed.
I am at a loss as to why this device is having issues. I do not have out of band on it at the moment. I even tried connecting to the mgmt port. from a device on the same network just in case it was a routing issue, but to no avail.
I also can ping the mgmt interface with no issues. The box is also still passing traffic.
Any help would be appreciated. I just upgraded it to 6.2r5
Were you able to get access to it via the console? If you can, you may want to check out the sockets and see if it's not being released. I had issues with this in the past, which prevents me from accessing the box via CLI (telnet/ssh) or Web. I tried deleting the sockets but it would not delete -- only fix was to reboot. Later found out there was a bug in the firmware. I can't remember specifics on the firmware though. However, it did happen on a SSG platform.
