teardrop attack

‎01-20-2011 11:08 PM

Hi All,

i can see the log in my firewall from time to time, i enabled teardrop attack protection. What is the meaning of the log?

Teardrop attack! From 88.74.23.88:33613 to 202.7x.2xx.xx:80, proto TCP (zone Untrust, int ethernet0/2:1). Occurred 1 times.

Is my firewall protecting? What else i can do to avoid this log from happening?

Your firewall is blocking it.

There is nothing you can do, it has come from the internet over which you have no control, this is the firewall doing exactly what it is designed for.
