Lab exam PC's OS should not be Windows XP

Hello certification team 

 

As now , windows XP is EOS , can I expect to use PC with  Windows 7 in the next lab exam , I want to use my wireless keyboard , which is not supported by windows XP.

Hi Red,

 

The OS varies by location.  If you email this question to certification@juniper.net, along with the location where you plan to take the exam, we can advise which OS will be in use there.

Thanks for your reply , so shall I still expect Windows XP in some locations ?  as it is EOS , it should not be used at all.

Unfortunately No, in mobile site they are using win7 but in Amsterdam they use xp , I don't know why!

Well as Kieran clarified it varies per location and sometime on the same location you may get XP, Putty, windows notepad and next time you may get windows 7, SecureCRT and notepad++.

 

I think Education services might be requesting IT dptt for specific nos of system only during exams that's why there is no standart format/feature set all over the locations but if you request for specific OS or other feature they may ask the same from IT.
