WLC-V issues http/https

[ Edited ]

friends,

I have a problem with the WLC-V, no enter web port (explore v9 y v7/ Mozilla Firefox v22.0) to the computer with the IP assigned. Enable the HTTPS server and ports. From my laptop through the "CMD" I can verify that the ports are open, with command "telnet 192.168.1.2 443" o "telnet 192.168.1.2  80".

Any suggestions ....

Hi mega,

Are you able to telnet in to the WLC-V?
Thanks!

I have this same issue today. Another thing I found out was that MXR-2 does not support the version of code running on the WLC-V. I have sent a mail to my partner SE if there are know issues with it. It works fine in my environment. Still observing though.

This version doesn't have a web access. Next version will have. You must use CLI or Ring Master for managing.

I also heard it can be imported into RM v9. I haven't tried it though

Replying to multiple messages:

vWLC runs MSS version 9 and up. The older MXR-2 units don't have enough flash to store it, but newer ones do. This was actually introduced in MSS v8. The release notes say that you can run v8 on Models MX-8 and MX-8R controller - Revision "P" and above, and Model MXR-2 controller - Revision "N" and above.

vWLC can be imported into RM 9, and I think you can do it with Space as well.
