Retrieving vSRX license information

‎08-13-2019 02:14 AM

I'm trying to retrieve which license is installed on my vSRX. My internet just got upgraded from 100 to 200mbit, but i'm not sure if I've installed a 100mbit or gigabit license. If i do

show system license

I can't find the SKU of the license that is installed right now. I've also called support if they could see which licenses I own would get me an answer, but they told me I've got 2 100Mbit licenses. However I can use the full 200mbit my ISP gives me.

How can I know if I've got a 100mbit or gigabit license installed on my vSRX?

Hi,

What is the output of "show system license". It should show the feature name of the license.

If it is empty, probably you have not installed the license.

Note that the exact SKU ID wont be shown in the cpmmand output.

Hi,

As per the output, you have 1 evaluation license and one another license.

The throughput license does not seems to be showing the details but the advanced license does (I am trying to get a valid juniper document to confirm this, coundnt so far.)

Can you map the SSRN(software serial no) and use following juniper entitlement site to confirm the details:-

Hi,

I validated the information and throughput license will not show in the feature section ( telling about the 100M or 1G).

Only way is entitlement check or Agile portal:-

Unfortenetely I don't have access to that portal. I think it's kinda strange that it is so difficult to find which troughput license is installed.

Ideally, you should be having access to the license manager (agile). It is the one stop shop for managing all your licences. Please check if anyone else in your Org has access.

You may also reach out to our customer care team to obtain access.
