SRX bhind the proxy server .

 Hi ,

I am looking for help in configureing my SRX300 , my setup is my SRX is siiting behind the Proxy server http://x.x.x.x:8080 .I want my clients which are connected to SRX300 to connect without configureing proxy at cleint level . so I have difnd the proxy in SRX300 at system level using these commands . 

set systemc proxy server x.x.x.x port 8080 

 

even after setting my clients are not able to connect to internet via proxy . is there anything else need to configured for this scenario . 

if I configure proxy seperately for clinets I am able to connect to internet ,but I want define this at SRX level can people here please help .

The system level proxy commands you are looking at are likely the ones to use for self generated traffic on the SRX to use a proxy server and not for transit traffic.

 

For transit traffic you need to configure filter based forwarding.  this kb outlines and example for bluecoat proxy but should be similar for others too.
