I guess i'm an idiot, but is there a specific way you have to install vmware tools on the vSRX images?
I have a ticket open with JTAC, but I've been on hold for a half hour so...figured I'd ask you guys.
As per my understanding you would want to install the VMware tools installed on the vSRX node.
I guess there is a KB to upgrade the VMWare tools on vSRX which might be of help.(This has a install/upgrade option)
Hope this helps.

I've tried that, but I don't get the "auto install" option, I just get the mount CD/DVD drive.
Is there someway to run that drive and install in the linux shell?
I seem to have learned that only on vSRX 2.0 (linux based) VMware tools can be installed, but not for vSRX 3.0 (BSD based). Ulf
