vSRX on KVM - More CPU equals more Horsepower?

    Hi all,

     

    I have a question regarding vSRX on qemu (KVM).

    The System requirements list 4GB RAM and 2 vCPU - will the vSRX benefit from more vCPU (let's say 4) and more RAM (let's say 6GB) or will it simply "ignore" more resources?

     

    Has anyone actually tested this and is there a statement from Juniper?

    I got answer from Juniper and indeed - more vCPU and RAM are giving the vSRX more Horse-Power - but you have to be careful:

    So if Resources are not enough, vSRX does a fallback to the next smaller Version - but only during first boot. No Idea what happens when you do this later because scaling down is not supported.
